As the days become shorter and colder, the winter faeries rejoice, for they love cold weather, rain and snow! Our flower faerie friends prefer to be tucked up indoors so that they can keep warm.
During the June school holidays, The Faerie Shop will be offering a range of fun activities inspired by the winter faeries - but from within the lovely warm buildings of the Salamanca Arts Centre. We've lots of in-store classes as well as faerie ballet and a colouring competition. We'll also be offering a range of faerie school classes, including making faerie princess tiaras and princely crowns; painting and decorating unicorns; winter wishes and we'll even make winter gingerbread houses!

Following on from the success of our Easter colouring competition, The Faerie Shop is offering another colouring-in competition these school holidays!
We’ll be drawing an entry to win a $30 Faerie Shop Gift voucher every day from Saturday 9th June until Sunday 17th June, so make sure you have your entry in before the first prize draw! You can enter as many times as you like.

Stories with the Faeries Join the faeries for a story and a special wish! A lovely opportunity for first time visitors to the faeries ~ or for old friends to call by (Parental supervision required). Also a great opportunity to enter our June School Holiday Colouring Competition.
Do you love to have your face painted? The faeries do! Will you choose to become a butterfly, a faerie princess or something altogether new? Join Faerie Sweetpea in-store for fabulous faerie face painting (Bookings are not required).
All proceeds from these classes will be donated to the Australian Childhood Foundation.
Faerie LettersCome in-store today to decorate and write your very own letter to a faerie! Your special letter can be left in our wishing well, or taken home to be left in your garden for the winter faeries to read. How special! (Bookings are not required)
A wonderful class for the littlies! Winter faeries love to dance and twirl in the falling snow flakes. Today we'll dance just like the winter faeries - but inside where it is cosy and warm! Join our dancing faeries, Skyla and Pinquilo, today for faerie ballet, and be sure to wear you twirliest of dancing skirts!
Faerie Princess Tiaras and Princely Crowns and a Glow Wand too...Faerie princesses and queens always wear a sparkling tiara or crown upon their heads, and charming princes also have their very own crowns. Join us today to make your own very special tiara or crown. How will you make yours? We will have lots of sparkling flowers, crystals and other goodies to make your tiara or crown shine so that you can wear it proudly - and we'll add in a glowing wand to match.

Faeries love to have special treasure boxes in which to store their magical keepsakes. Today, we'll decorate our very own treasure box with lovely gems, flowers, sparkles and all sorts of treasures. So much fun!!
Winter ButterfliesSometimes the winter faeries flutter like butterflies amongst the flowers. If you visit The Faerie Shop today, you can make a winter's snowflake butterfly. A lovely reminder of spring!
Today we will learn about magical unicorns and paint our own unicorn to keep. Gorgeous!
During winter when the night falls quickly, the faeries sometimes need some extra light to mark their way. Visit in-store today to make a delightful winter lantern to welcome the faeries.
A Winter Faerie Tea PartyOur faeries love nothing better than to have a tea party, especially when it's cold outside. Today we'll be decorating our own yummy biscuits, making faerie bread, and we'll share a winter faerie cake! We'll learn all about the rain faeries, and see what shapes we can create with our icing. Bookings essential.
Have you ever seen the snow in faerie land? It looks and feels like the snow we have, but it is pink. Today we'll be playing with icing snow! We'll decorate delicious gingerbread houses with lots of icing and yummy sweets, which you can share later with your special family and friends. Will your home have pink snow too?
